I’m a big fan of news infographics and Spanish newspaper El Mundo has done an excellent job with this interactive on the Chilean miners and the rescue plan. (HT @ojblog) I strongly believe newspaper websites can enhance their depth of news coverage with these sorts of visual tools. Online news isn’t just about text and photos, and interactives like this Chilean one is proof of how much more of a story you can tell when text, images and data are combined.
